Family Portraits

Creating pictures for high quality lasting prints and wall art of your family that can be lasting memories to be handed down to your children and grandchildren is considered by many to be old-fashioned in the modern age of phone cameras. But what happens to all those pictures? Does anyone look at them? Are they secure ? Digital images are often lost to time.

Why I do portrait photography: Having the good fortune to see pictures of my great grand-parents selling home grown vegetables out of the front porch.. Seeing pictures my grand-parents as young people and photos of extended family now long past and hearing stories about all of them has left a deep impression of family connection and history that I hope to share and help recreate for you and your family. My hope is to help create photos for you to hang on the wall where you and your family can see them or creating lasting high quality albums where you can also write in the story behind the photos so that your children and grand-children can have the history and memories of your family to carry forward. I was lucky to have spent time with my great-aunts and uncles, grand-parents, aunts and uncles and to hear all their stories and to have that all come back to me as an adult in seeing the old family photo albums. I hope to help you create that for your family.
